The engagement party took place at Lobby at Twelve

A Night with Jasmine Star!!

Words cannot express how excited I was to FINALLY Meet my Photography idol – Jasmine Star!!! She is the one person who I truly admire her humbleness and her willingness to give. She was so welcoming and warm-hearted and her personality is just as bright in person as it is in her blog! Oh how I love this girl — Can I get an AMEN!!??! (those that were there last night, knows what I am talking about!)

Some of the points I took away from The Fix:

“In order to change we MUST do it TOGETHER!”

“Influential artists thrive on each other”

“Once you make friends, everything will change”

“Go forth + Do : Sacrifice doesn’t guarantee success, it’s merely a prerequisite of success”

Action: Do the WORK. “Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.” – Peale

I made a New Year’s Resolution to meet her… and I finally did!! ::check!:: Here are some images I captured of the night!

JD is truly a sweet guy! Jasmine is one lucky girl!
Loved the venue – The Foundry at Puritan Mill!
Met some new friends at The Fix!!!:)
Ok – so anyone that knows me… KNOWS How emotional I am!!! I started speaking to Jasmine and I honestly don’t know how my words came out! Freaking out, I started tearing up because I was so happy to finally meet her… and she said “OMG, if you cry I will cry” so I said “ok I will hold it together “- we both took deep breath and smiled for the camera.

The set up for the evening…. I love it!
Reading a passage from Exposed – The Copycat
She is so gorgeous!!!
Thank you Jasmine for such a wonderful evening! I have learned so much from you and will continue to strive to be the best that I can be!

Another goal that I finally completed was to get business cards!!! These pretty babies came in just in time for The Fix! I ordered them through Moo.com and I absolutely love them!:) ::Check!::

This year has been pretty amazing so far and I am loving every minute of it!

101 in 1001

I have been itching to do this for a very long time – and now it is finally complete! I have created 101 goals to complete in 1001 days!!! If you are looking for more information on how to start your own 101 in 1001 list, click HERE. If you are ready to get started – but you are not sure of what your end date will be, click HERE!

Serena - Oh, I loved going through this to-do list of yours. I’ve never walked the Brooklyn Bridge or gone parasailing either – but someday!

You should totally try rock climbing, if you haven’t yet. I frequently go to an indoor rock climbing gym and it’s a super fun way to stay in shape + keep active. =)
